About Orion Store
Not just a typical app store — an experiment in what a fast, private, serverless app store can be.
Orion Store is the first project from RookieZ, a solo developer building passion projects. It reimagines the app store as something lightweight, transparent, and completely serverless.
The mission
Orion is built for people who care where their software comes from — not just how quickly it downloads. It focuses on high-quality modded and patched apps, open-source tools and utilities, and above all, privacy and transparency. Everything is open source and auditable: the store is the code.
Why it's one of a kind
Unlike traditional app stores — or even other FOSS clients — Orion is an architectural experiment. It runs with zero servers, zero databases, and zero ongoing costs, powered entirely by GitHub repositories, smart automation, and CDN delivery. That makes it extremely fast, effortlessly scalable, and transparent by design.
Freshest patched apps, automatically
Orion integrates tightly with Morphe-AutoBuilds, a companion project that runs daily automated workflows to build the latest ReVanced and Morphe patched APKs, apply up-to-date patches, and upload them automatically. The result: Orion users get the freshest patched versions of apps like YouTube and Spotify delivered without lifting a finger — a complete, end-to-end solution built by one person.
Built by the community
Anyone can grow the Orion library through direct repositories or Obtainium imports, and a gamified contribution system rewards you with badges and leaderboard standings. If you enjoy modded apps, FOSS, or just cool indie engineering, you're welcome to jump in.
